Interactive and informative tour of Aloe Vera!
The tour of the Aloe vera farm was so interesting and interactive. Our hostess, Day, was so welcoming and engaging. They took us to see where the aloe was planted and the views over the fields. Then we were shown the process of washing and preparing the aloe leaves for making products. We were escorted to a nice shaded pavilion where they taught us how to filet the leaves, emulsify the aloe and make an after sun spray to take with us. They also treated us to some homemade aloe smoothies and banana bread. The gift shop was full of their products made with high quality aloe vera. Loved learning more about the process and health applications of aloe.

Worth the entry fee
We didn’t really know what to expect with this tour but it was very interesting and lovely to see a commercial enterprise on such a small scale. We were given aloe Vera straight out of the leaves in front of us to eat and it did not taste good! Very strange texture. The factory is very small and a simple operation but that is all that is needed to create their products. We bought some aloe Vera gel which was great on sun exposed skin and a day cream that we’ve not tried yet. The lady conducting the tour was very knowledgeable and clearly loves the company and what it does.

Family fun and educational yet interactive
This was a great experience. We opted for the workshop but still learned about the farm quite a bit and had time to walk around. The instructors are very good at explaining and demonstrating how to make the after aun spray. My 11 and 14 year old loved going into the fields to cut aloe and then harvest it. The mango juice and banana bread were a fun surprise. Having all the tools we needed at the tables was helpful and they were always walking around to help. Would highly recommend! If your child does not have great knife skills, you can help while they are still very hands on.

Wonderful Tour!
This was fantastic! The ladies in the gift shop and the lady that took us on the tour and taught us all about aloe and the farm were knowledgeable and fun! Try the aloe to eat and yes, rub it on yourself! :) Thank you!
