If you want to try scuba diving, but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, this Intro Dive on Curacao is for you!
What can you expect?
Scuba Do dive school at Jan Thiel offers this program just off the beach, where their qualified instructors will teach you basic safety guidelines and show you how to properly set up your dive gear. This program begins at either 8:30 or 13:00. After some underwater exercises and getting used to breathing underwater, the instructors will show you around the house reef during your first dive ever!
Where will this tour take you?
During the dive you will explore the underwater scene of Curacao. Look for colorful fish and see coral in crystal clear water! While not a scuba certification course, Discover Scuba Diving is a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world. After this dive, you’ll receive a certificate that is valid for two weeks. This time period will enable you to make your introduction dive count as the first lesson for your Open Water course. With this certificate, you can continue with your Open Water course or go on another accompanied dive (repeat the Discover Scuba Diving).

- Bring a towel, dry clothing, and swim clothing
- Bring sunscreen

Know before you go:
- Children under 10 are not allowed on this tour
Refund and Cancellation Policy:
- A cancellation up to 24 hours prior to departure of the tour entitles the guest to a 100% refund.
- Less than 24 hours prior to departure, the guest receives no refund unless due to illness accompanied by a valid doctor's statement.
- In case of illness, only the person who is ill will receive a 100% refund. Other participants within the same booking that cancel the tour will not receive a refund unless otherwise decided by the supplier depending on the circumstances.
- No-shows, or if you miss the tour because you are too late, and cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled activity will be charged the full price.
- In case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances the tour will be rescheduled, if rescheduling is not possible or the new time is inconvenient for you, a full refund will be issued.
