Join this Sunset Hike with Rock Climbing Curacao!
What can you expect?
The RCC shop is the starting point of the hike, so when the group is complete, the hike starts immediately. The hike takes around 3-3.5 hours in total. The length of the trail is 8.5 km/5.3 miles. Every healthy person without injuries can do this hike. Some parts are more challenging than other parts, as you can see on the pictures.
Where will this tour take you?
The schedule is coordinated in a certain way that the hikers reach the top of the Tafelberg right before the sunset. Thereafter they enjoy the view at the Proa lookout point during the sunset. After the sun goes down, the hike goes on. The way back is not the same trail as the way up. When the time is right, the guide will ask the participants to put and turn on their headlamps.

Meeting & Pick up:

- This tour does not offer pick up service
- Start time: The tour starts at 5:00 PM, please arrive no later than 4:40 PM
What to bring:
- Athletic clothes.
- We recommend wearing sport shoes in good condition, comfortable sneakers that are allowed to get dirty.. If you have hiking shoes, even better!
- You can bring your own water, or buy cold drinks in the RCC shop.
- Please bring a backpack for your water bottles, snacks etc. to avoid having to carry your stuff.
Know before you go:
- You will be required to sign a waiver, you will receive this in your confirmation email, or you can fill it in at the beginning of the hike. Make sure you arrive early if you still need to sign the waiver.
- This tour is 6+
Refund and Cancellation Policy:
- A cancellation up to 24 hours prior to departure of the tour entitles the guest to a 100% refund.
- Less than 24 hours prior to departure, the guest receives no refund unless due to illness accompanied by a valid doctor's statement.
- In case of illness, only the person who is ill will receive a 100% refund. Other participants within the same booking that cancel the tour will not receive a refund unless otherwise decided by the supplier depending on the circumstances.
- No-shows, or if you miss the tour because you are too late, and cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled activity will be charged the full price.
- In case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances the tour will be rescheduled, if rescheduling is not possible or the new time is inconvenient for you, a full refund will be issued.
